A sports dietitian helps you eat and fuel for training, competition and recovery. That covers everyday eating, fuelling before, during and after sessions, race-day and carbohydrate-loading plans, hydration, supplements, gut issues and body composition, all built around your sport and schedule.
Not at all. Lauren works with everyday to elite athletes, from people training for their first event to professional competitors, across endurance, team, weight-category and strength sports. She also helps with injury recovery, body composition, gut issues and coeliac disease.
In Australia, Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is the national credential for dietitians, run by Dietitians Australia. APDs hold a university qualification in dietetics and complete ongoing professional development, and it's the credential private health funds recognise for rebates. "Nutritionist" isn't a protected title. Lauren is an APD.
Initial and review consultations are 30 minutes, in person or online. Before you commit, you can book a free 15-minute discovery call to talk through your goals.
